Easter “Beránek”, which literally translates to little lamb, is a traditional cake that is an essential on all tables over Easter.
For one mould
Ingredients:
- 4 eggs
- 350 g semi-coarse flour
- 170 g butter
- 300 g sugar
- 10 tablespoons of milk
- Baking powder
- Butter and coarse flower for greasing and preparing the mould
Method:
Mix all of the ingredients together, work into a dough and pour into a greased mould that is sprinkled with coarse or semi-coarse flour. Bake for 60 minutes in an oven pre-heated to 145 – 150 C.
Leave the beránek in the mould to cool and only tip it out once cooled.
